iMovie logoAdventure Story Project PART 2:

Make a slideshow movie of your adventure story...

During your Presidents Day break you took pictures to record the story of one of your adventures.

Now make a slideshow movie that tells the story of that adventure in pictures... and words.

Create your adventure story slideshow movie...

Take care of the order that the pictures go in and the pacing (how long each one stays in veiw). You may want to use the KenBurns effect to zoom in or out to highlight a section of a photo. Maybe add some transitions between some of the photos.

BE CREATIVE.

You need to narrate the adventure (with a voice over) and/or put words ontop of or inbetween the photos. You may want to add some graphics or drawings on top or inbetween photos.

HAVE FUN WITH IT!

Your adventure had a beginning, middle and an end, make sure to tell your story with that arc.

You want to place an establishing shot (wide shot) to set each scene. Place your full, medium, over the shoulder and point of view shots to show what is happening: in the order of the acctual happening. Add in close ups to show peoples reactions or moods during the action.

You should have at least 12 pictures in your adventure movie.

Here are some Student Examples

Turn it in...

In iMovie: use the "Share" command to save your completed video to "file."

To make it reasonable to upload to Google Classroom make it a small size and mid quality.

Then turn in your shots video to your Google Classroom.

If your movie is too big to send, get to me to come over and download it onto my flash drive.

Adventure Project movie is worth 80 Project points.
